Dr. Woo graduated from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia in 1998. After receiving his MD degree; he obtained his Internal Medicine residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School where he was nominated by his peers to serve as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. He was then appointed as Assistant Professor of Medicine and developed the academic hospitalist program at Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia. Later on, Dr. Woo pursued further subspecialty training in the field of Allergy and Immunology. He was a fellow in training at Louisiana State University under the mentorship of Dr. Sami Bahna, who was the president of the American College of Asthma Allergy and Immunology and also an internationally recognized expert in food allergy. Dr. Woo was inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for his dedication to patient care and excellence in medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He sees both pediatric and adult patients with allergic diseases.
