By completing the registration form you have already provided 9 out of the 10 pieces of information required for a listing in Medeguide's directory. All you need to do is log in and upload a good quality portrait photograph of yourself.

 

How do patients find and contact me?

The registration form contains the country and city you work in and the specialty you practice in. Patients' initial searches are usually based on these two factors: they are looking for a cardiologist in Malaysia or Urologist in Thailand for example. Your listing will appear in the relevant search and the patient can request an appointment through the website.

 

Where are my appointment requests sent and is there a risk of spam?

Appointment requests are automatically vetted by our site to prevent you from receiving unwanted spam through the system and are sent to the email address you specify. Your email address is not public. We take privacy very seriously; we will not pass on or sell your email address to any 3rd party.

 

Is there a subscription based account?

Yes. For a small subscription you can upgrade your account to an online profile. Your profile page (eCV) is entirely manageable by yourself and includes details such as the conditions you focus on treating, the procedures you specialize in performing, your clinic address and clinic hours.

 

What are the benefits of subscribing?

Your Medeguide profile (or eCV) gives you a professional presence on the internet. Upgrading to an eCV allows you to provide patients with much more information about yourself including the conditions you treat and the procedures you perform. Once a patient has navigated around Medeguide's directory their subsequent searches are often refined to the condition or procedure they are interested in. An eCV allows you to be included in these searches.

 

How do patients know they can trust Medeguide?

Doctors on Medeguide come from two sources: large hospitals or online registration. As part of the online registration process the doctor must provide their medical license number. The doctor will only appear in the directory once Medeguide has validated their license details. This 'third party' validation gives Medeguide's directory greater credibility and gives patients confidence that what they are seeing is really a directory of licensed medical specialists.
